The Landcrab is an all purpose utility vehicle powered by electric motors. Formworks was charged with the chassis engineering as well as the functionality and aesthetic design. Extensive market research/analysis and prototype testing was carried out in collaboration with the client.

The body work is based on a concept of modular functional units situated around a central frame platform. This allows for endless reconfiguration opportunities and excellent adaptability for specific uses. The landcrab has purposefully aggressive, utilitarian styling that emphasises the fact that despite being battery powered this vehicle is endowed with performance to make it competitive with conventional ATV's. The exposed framework accentuates the functional nature of the bodywork and references modular systems.
