The first stage in the Design and Development process
is Research. A critical factor to the success of any product
is having a clear understanding of what criteria the product
has to meet in order to satisfy its target market. Information
such as price, operating conditions, end user profiles,
materials, standards and patents all help to define a
product. Research is sometimes supplied by the client
as part of the brief, however, Formworks is often asked
to investigate further, utilising its many contacts and
resources. |
